| The desire for more luxury lead to the re-designing of the 36ft Silverette. The new model, which first appeared in 1937 was given a fully enclosed wheelhouse with an elegantly curved roof, and large sliding doors. It was a definite improvement on the open shelter type that was first seen with the 30ft Silverette, the 1932 36ft Silverette and the first Silver Leafs. Future classes would reflect this trend. Today there are a number of these craft still around, and at present two of this class are undergoing restoration. |
